North British 31 Year Old 1991 Hogshead Import 46.7% 70cl S.B.S a slight fresh minty noteAnother wonderful single grain expression from North British, bottle by Hogshead Importers. This one has spent 31 years in a first fill oloroso sherry cask. Nose: raisins and dried cherries steeped in sherry. Subtle spices and floral notes follow. Palate: Some confectionary sweetness from strawberry laces. Soft toffee pennies and more spices follow. Finish: A surprisingly oaky finish.
