BROADCAST - Microtronics - Volumes 1 & 2 LP Folk Commissioned by the Chicago CulturalBroadcast originally made available their two Microtronics EPs as tour only 3 CDs back in 2003 and 2005 respectively. Given the subtitle Stereo Recorded Music For Links And Bridges, the brief tracks (rarely more than two minutes in length) were seemingly designed to be interstitial compositions and sound sketches for use in some imaginary film or documentary, allowing the band to indulge their love for retro futurism.
