this is unlikely to make for especially interesting early drinking

The wine comes from the 15 ha La Veguilla vineyard at 575m elevation in the San Vicente region

before hitting full maturity

A fresh and bright nose of primarily red pinot fruit introduces mildly bitter and distinctly short flavors

round and admirably pure tautly muscled flavors that possess reasonably good flesh but the finish exhibits a mildly dry tanginess that may round out but makes me cautious nevertheless
